Basic calculation mode for processes (process reference)

The Basic calculation with reference to a process calculates process times, manufacturing times and setup times. Hence, unit-related manufacturing costs and setup costs are calculated.

  1. Select the element in the project structure you wish to assign Basic mode to.
  2. In the ribbon, click on Start > Set Mode ("Edit" group) > Basic .

    3. The Basic dialog opens.

  3. In the "Manufacturing" group, enter the time required by the manufacturing for the process in the "Time" entry field, and the incurred cost rate in the "Cost rate" entry field.
  4. In the "Setup" group, enter the time required by the setup for the process in the "Time" entry field, and the incurred cost rate in the "Cost rate" entry field.
  5. Click OK.
