Define Versioning Reports

Since reports are essential for every calculation, it should be possible to access them again at a later time. However, it is also important to have a report for a fixed calculation status, since the report templates can change over time.

  • The versioning reports are executed when a version is created. (can be selected)
  • Make sure that the reports do not take too long, as the time required for versioning is extended accordingly.
  • Some reports also need input from the user. The input dialogs are also displayed during the versioning process.
  • It is also important which user creates the version. The user's personal settings (to the extent required for the report) are used to generate the report.
  • The software uses the report rights that were set when the version was created. These rights are not affected by changes implemented later on.
  • Many of the reports are created on an annual basis and therefore only display one project year at all times. The software will use the current production year that was set at the time of the versioning. For this reason, it is important to enter at least one versioning report based on the entire production period (lifetime report).
