Attribute Groups

Requirements

In order to apply changes, the Maintenance Mode with system changes needs to be activated.

This interface allows you to create attribute groups for standard attributes. Attribute groups help structure standard attributes.

Tree structure

The tree structure displays the calculation element categories with the defined attribute groups.

  • "Add" button

    Click this button to add a new attribute group below the selected calculation element category.

  • "Delete" button

    Click this button to delete the selected attribute group.

    These buttons let you change the order in which the attribute groups are sorted within a calculation element category.

"Properties" group

  • "Name" input field

    Enter the name of the attribute group for the selected language.

  • "Language" combobox

    Select a language.

  • "Administer Rights" button

    Click the button to open the Administer Rights Dialog.

 

Create and Edit Attribute Groups

Create Attribute Groups

  1. Open the "Settings" Dialog.

  2. Switch to Attribute Groups.

  3. Select a calculation element category in the tree structure.

    The "Properties" group is available.

  4. Click Add.

    This creates a new attribute group and the "Properties" group becomes available.

  5. Enter a name for your attribute group in the "Caption" input field.

  6. Click Apply.

 

Edit Attribute Groups

  1. Open the settings > Attribute Groups.

  2. Select an attribute group. The "Properties" group is available.

  3. Select a different language in the "Language" combobox to use the attribute groups in internationalized mode.

  4. Enter a name in the "Name" input field for the language selected in the "Language" combobox.

    Note

    The designations entered are saved for each language and displayed based on the interface language that is set.

  5. Click Delete to delete the attribute groups.

  6. Click on the arrow symbols to move an attribute group up or down in the tree structure.

  7. Click Apply.
